Hey, not sure if I'm asking an age old question but I wanted to ask and see if this was a possibility or not....

But I am curious on a 109 block from either an '86 or '87 turbo Regal/GN....is it possible to get rid of the cam sensor, crank sensor and coil pack, and in it's place run a rotary style distributor? And still keep the fuel injection?

You would still need a crank reference signal but the cam sensor (obviously) and coil pack can be eliminated.
