Is this the stuff?

I've been running pure denatured with great results for the past few weeks. I ordered a 5gal can of it at Ace Hardware, and it finally came in today. The label reads "Denatured Solvent Alcohol", instead of the "Pure Denatured Alcohol" that I'm used to. Is this the same stuff, or did I just get screwed?

A lot of the denatured alcohols have solvents in them. Read the label and if there is any rubber solvents in it, it may eat some of your hoses.

so...........

Am I ok, as long as it doesn't have any rubber solvents? I think all it said on the can was "ethanol methanol".........or something to that effect. I'll check it out and post back.

I double-checked, and here's what I found.......

Ingredients: methyl alcohol
ethyl alcohol

Sounds ok to me!!

Those are other names for methanol and ethanol...both good.
