Did you replace the O2 sensor? Reason I ask is because I have had a sputter when accelerating and hooked up my directscan....found O2 mv going to -0- at times, even when TPS was increasing. Looks like its time for a new O2 sensor. Last time i had a sputter it was the TPS sensor, so I actually suspected that first.

New heated 02 sensor new tps sensor. Infact all new sensors so I'm leaning towards cam sensor

Run a Caspers coil pak tester on the ign box. Do it cold, run til heated up, do it again... see what you get.

I went through a similar sounding situation, the car would only do it when it got hot and I tried everything to fix it. It ended up that it was the cam sensor cap. When it got heat soaked it would start to act up. I ended up just switching to a caspers cap(very nice piece) and all was better.

Thanks I'll order one today since I changed everything else possible.

You really need a scan tool. Someone had Directscan with a laptop for $200 in the parts for sale thread.

That's not good enough when you are troubleshooting intermittent problems. You need Direct Scan or Powerlogger to get real time data.

Thanks. Must be why I can't find the problem. I ordered a caspers cam sensor cap today so if that doesn't do it then I'll have to go with a scan tool.
