I am able to purchase a brf Trans from a local person for $200. It came out of his 87 Gn. It does slip so it will need a rebuild. I just wanted to know if this is a good deal or not. I really don't need the trans but to have a investment or a spare core. Am I getting a good deal or is it too pricey?

It is worth a minimum of $600.00 if it is an original BRF with VB and gov.

I think I got around $150-$175 for just the valvebody out of mine.
