Well, I took a half day vacation today and finished up the last minute items on the car. A couple minor leaks here and there......nothing major and no show stoppers.

Fired the darn thing up and it sounds great!!! It showed 90 psi oil pressure cold which came down to 50psi hot with 10w-30. I am very pleased.

I need to install the 85# injectors and re-cal the DFI and head to the dyno. I fired it up with 43# injectors because I knew the DFI program would start and run good (didn't want to wash down the cyl walls right off the bat).

Still lots of work to do.....but it is a HAPPY day!!!!

Check out the photo album for some new pictures.

See you at Norwalk Sept 12th!!!

Dave

After countless hours and some goodies from Jacks car, I fired mine back up today. I took out a head gasket from a improper application gasket used by the builder. I have stepped up to Jacks old combo and his FM intercooler. Take a look at the bottom pics on the album.

We'll have to hook up at the track some day.

P.S. those headers look pretty mean. A shame to fire it up and discolor them. :D

Ted and Dave, congratulations.
Please keep us up to date.

I'm with ya guys, heading to the track this morning with my new combo!!!!! I'll say one thing, the old combo was incredible, I'm sure Ted is gonna love it and take it to a level I never had a chance to achieve. By the way Ted, if you're hooking good, don't launch with more than a bout 12lbs........ unless you've got a pilots license...... drop me an email when you get back from the track. Good luck and stay safe.
