its broken no start

Well here's my delema I let my brother take my car on the way back it shit the bed on the highway he said it clunked , bucked like a tranny issue and wouldn't stay running has all new fuel filter ect when I got it towed back it would crank ,back fire and no start checked plugs replaced ign pack ,maf sensor cam solenoid back fire is gone but still no start checked valves compssion ect any thoughts no I didn't check the scan tool bc it's currently not hooked up please and thanks for any help also fuel pressure is also good

my first thought would be timing chain usually a backfire is a timing issue of some sort.

Cam sensor. Check the wheel.

What do you mean by check the wheel ?

Pop the cap off the cam sensor. There is a wheel inside. It has a tab that keys it to the shaft. Sometimes the tab breaks allowing the wheel to move throwing off injector timing. If this is the case RJC has a fix. Good luck.

It's that lovely gear shaft that located in between the alt and intake pipe goes
