Last week I pulled the trans in my gn and noticed the BF R tag in pretty pink. 
I've only had the car about 2 months and it has had a pretty rough life. With all of the horror stories about people sending a BFR to aamco (or like place) and having it lost in the rebuild, I was still weary of what would be inside.
Well, I got a chance to start breaking it down today and I didn't notice anything like BF cast into the valve body.
I came home and looked up the markings. Realized my car had be swiped of the BF valve body. Not the end of the world, but still a bummer all the same.
Decided to bring the parts inside and as I started up the stairs, noticed BF3 painted in yellow (this is the one I'm supposta have right?) I guess I was looking so hard at the numbers cast on it I missed the BIG yellow writing. Ha Well that made my day and I just thought I would share.
