How do you guys from up'nort do it.

Tried to blast some parts but the gloves in the blast cabinet are to stiff to use.

What??? You have a garage? And you're complaining?? Do pushups... Now.
If I had a garage, I'd buy a bullet heater and go to TOWN. I ain't even kiddin. Throw the hall and oates greatest hits cd on, bust a 6 pack of Newcastle, and go to work. I did it alll winter in my ex girlfriends garage lol. She wasn't happy either. Now? No garage..... :( And it's KILLIN me too....

Not to call you a wimp Al, but Friday the high was 27 and I was in the uninsulated shop with an electric blower heater putting a pair of axles in a neon. It never got above 27 here and I wasn't wearing gloves all the time. The tools were cold and the compressor was a little fussy but I felt ok. The trick is to get some good long johns. The standard cotton ones just don't cut it for me. I got the poly wool blend ones and CWS boots. I even had to take my jacket off for a while to keep cool. And if you didn't know, I HATE THE COLD!

Charlie if you move a little further South you will be speaking even more Spanish....

These are the trick. Along with a good 100% wool watch cap as well.

I can tolerate the cold myself but my hands get numb and the fact that my average wrench (Yea I measured it with an IR thermometer) was 20 degrees didn't help. And I don't have a heater out there.

I just did a vacuum brake conversion outdoors with temps. in the 20's.

And I had to walk uphill up the driveway BOTH WAYS to do it. ;)

Weenies. :p

The blood from cuts freezes and coagulates quicker too so that's a bonus.

When its cold out it is colder in my garage!
I have to open the door to let heat in. LOL

the trick is wait for a sunny day like today is was 30 yesterday is was 20 that 10 degrees is a huge difference. if we get 45 degrees then its shorts weather,
