Where does this go? I have a trans brake and I just have to put it in 1st and its engaged. Is this for a different type?

That's the rod that goes inside the chrome shifter arm and engages the sifter detent plate under the console.

When you dis-engage the t-brake to go, if you slam it into D to go... it'll bend it out of shape like Grumpys:D

Grumpy... is that a stronger rod than stock to handle it better??

Dan do you care if I snag that pic & put it on my site? I didn't have a pic of 1 mutilated yet LOL ;)

We are carrying them for Todd now. Todd also came out with an aluminum adjuster instead of the plastic piece.
Seems to make the shifter handle less prone to cracking internally.

wow!that's a nice piece. funny thing is, I didn't even realize I needed one, but now that I've read through the thread it makes sense. my current GN had a t-brake installed when I bought it. I've played around with the t-brake a little and now my shifter button keeps sticking. I'm guessing I've bent the stock J-rod so it's binding in the shifter shaft. probably need to order one of these.
