Took T-type to the track Sunday. About 40 miles to the track. Also took the kids. Still running 2004r built by Vince. Just put on new Mickey Thompsons. Made 3 passes 1/8th mile.

First pass---5.82 122.41mph

Second pass ----5.81 122.49mph

Third pass------5.80 122.13

Loaded kids up drove home. Transmission has been in car for a year. Still holding strong. Thanks Vince. Not sure but I don't know of any other 2004r do this. Or am I wrong?

Michael

I take it this is your newly built TB? I remember looking at the pics...Very nice car and times. Congrats for complete success!

Nice. The 1/8 to 1/4 calculator gives you a 9.19 at 151.44 quarter.

Lets see. The new Fury 325 or your car? Ummmm, I’ll take a ride in your car.

What the hell you got runnin under there?

That is pretty impressive !
I think Johnplogii is the only other 2004R that is in this range that I know of.

How about Red Armstrong? I thought he went 8.90s on a 2010 But i would guess Janis did his 2010 as well

I had to open this thread when I seen the title said "Watchout" Was thinking this was going to be a don't take your tranny to Janis bashing!! Should have figured that wasn't the case.... He has been building kick ass stuff for us locals a long time!!!

Vince does what he says he will. I have another 2004r sitting in the garage just like the one in the car. From past experiences I figured it would already be in the car. Looks like I finally found the right place.
