I tuned up my 1987 WE4 today ( 85k miles) The fuel pressure with the vacuum hose on is 35 PSI at idle is that correct? And the vacuum is a steady 16 pounds also at idle is that about were it should be? Thanks for any input

That sounds good, but you should adjust/evaluate your fuel pressure with the vac line off.

Fuel pressure should be 40-43psi with the vacuum line off. The regulator's pressure output is affected by boost and vacuum. It adds or subtracts 1 psi of fuel pressure for each psi of boost or vacuum.

What is the idle RPM? Vac is measured in inches of mercury or just plain old "inches"

You might be a little lean on fuel. 35" pull the line off and it may go to 40-41".

43-45 line off should read 38 or so when reconnected. (or somewhere around there.)
