Just put a set of Bosch 0280150846 [gray tops] on the bench.
NOT NICE!!
6 of the 8 are exhibiting SERIOUS leaks at the crimp/seal, where the metal body is crimped to the plastic top.
These injs were evidently run on methanol, as the top o'rings are rotted.
This is approximately 6 sets I've found this issue with. As of now, no reports of fires.
But........Murphy lives under the hood of every hot rod on the planet.
BTW, the previous sets went in the trash....After they were subjected to serious massaging w/ the 2#'r.
Bottom line: Keep an on your injs.
