I just finished installing a new cam and double roller timing set. My question is did I need to reinstall the tensioner bolt? I know it doesn't need the tensioner, but what about the bolt? Is it needed to plug the hole because of a water jacket or oil passage? I forgot to look before I put it back together.
 
Nope, You can leave it out.......no tensioner, no bolt needed.

What brand set did you choose?
