I just installed a new turbo, a lt1 mass airflow sensor and translator. Now I have a high idle. Its on a hot air motor. Any ideas?

The settings in the Translator depend on what chip you have and what MAF you use.
It's in the instructions, and also on the back of the Translator cover. Since you have an LT1 3" maf, the maf base setting should be "3".
However, this probably won't affect a high idle. Look for vacuum leaks, TPS or IAC adjustment.

What should my settings be on the translator if its a 3"The settings in the Translator depend on what chip you have and what MAF you use.

No?Did you unplug the ECM, plug it back in and let it learn?
Is that what your suppose to do when you install these translators?Did you unplug the ECM, plug it back in and let it learn?
Unplug ECM and get it to re-learn. If no vac leak or iac issue then the ECM may be just having a little 'freak out' session. Mine did that and I had to unplug it/replug it in and I was golden. My .02 cents.... -Ben
