I run the "turbo saver" kit and use Wix filters (I have faith in little else). Napa Gold & silver and the upper line house brand for CSK are the same. Ask for a filter for a 66 Pontiac V8, that's the one you need.

I've run a bunch of different ones, I prefer Wix but most of the "high line" filters do great...

Here's a link to some good oil filter info:

john, according to the Purolator website there is no such filter.
I tried 3001 too

Nick or somebody,
If im running the PF52 ( stock location ) filter was is the equivalent in the Mobil 1 of K&N.

Thanks in advance

Hi Frank.........the complete # is L30001. It's a full size filter as compared to the SISSY pf52. The Purolator L30001 is MANSIZED! ;)

for the turbo saver I run a Quaker State QS 13 made by Purolator,
or Valvoline 56 made by Champion Labs, Ron

oh oh. Thats a different thread size and I have had problems with that filter on my car backing off under high pressure. Just be aware.
30001 is a 3/4"-16
we use an 18x 1.5.

OK,OK.......IF YOU WANT TO USE ONE OF THOSE WIMPY LITTLE PF-52s.........I CAN'T HELP YA'. :D

Currently on my Turbo Saver I run AC PF-1218 filters. BUT.. I am going to put the Biggie Kit on soon as my new ATR liquid IC pump and lines cannot share the same space as my Turbo Saver. I will probably go to the Mobil 1 or K&N filter at that point.

Nick.. Do these filters drain down when the car sits??
