If anyone is interested there is a big kart race next weekend out in Sealy at...http://www.racekarts.com

I bought a 80cc Gold chassis shifter back in '98 and was "on a high" for a week after my first test session. Parking is only $5 but if you drive your GN/GNX/TT and say "What up G" I will pay for your parking, hint I will be wearing the straw cowboy hat ;).

Teaser :p....

Looks way too close to the ground and way too fast without doors. Haha

LOL!

It is a rush my friend and actually pretty darn safe. 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds and 2G's in braking and cornering is one heck of a workout, I am tired just thinking about it! :D

I just wanted to extend the invitation if someone may be so inclined. I'll be turning a ripe old 53 on Monday so I was extending a friendly invite.

In '97, my very first time at the track, there were a couple of gent's testing their 100cc kart (non-shifter). As all good Texan's do we started tossing cow chip's (shooting the BS) and they learned that I had never driven a kart so they obliged me and let me drive their kart. After 5 laps I was plum whooped and hit the pit's. Low and behold I had come within 2 seconds of that class track record, I chalked it up to lady luck.
