Kazaa lite.. "Cannot find registry keys" ... WTF?

I just clicked on my Kazaa Lite ++ ICON and a small window pop-up saying

KLRun

Cannot find Kazaa Lite registry keys

OK


What does this mean? What caused this and how do I fix it?

Re-installing it should fix the problem.

By chance are you running the Lavasoft Ad-aware or Spybot Search& Destroy utilities? they're intended to find & delete adware & scumware ... K-lite might be on their hit-list ... but K-lite is supposed to be free of the scumware 'regular' Kazaa imposes.
