Anyone have a picture of the filter housing mod? I have three different sets instructions printed. Each one is different. One from Kenne Bell. One from Vortex Buicks and one from The Power Source Manual. I understand the reason for the mod just can't picture which way is best.

I was thinking the instructions on Steve's site were the actual Kenne Bell instructions. The Power Source book doesn't talk about rerouting the oil before pressure bypass is achieved.

The best way is to drill the 'booster' hole I put in my Timing cover article and put the Kenne Belle piece in a museum. No reason to mismatch ports and double the odds on a leak when you don't have to.

Well this is a complete unused kit. I do have a colletion of old discontinued parts I collect.;) The Kenne Bell instructions stink. I would like to see someones mod to the filter adapter. If nothing more than to see it. Steves instructions and mine are somewhat different. I will never use this one. Collectors item.:p

Mines been on about 26 years now with no issues or leaks using KB's instructions.

No pics. however.

Same oil pressure now with 200K on it as I had with 18K on it when I installed it.

But beware, some say that aluminum plate will get eaten up over time..... :p

I'll give ya $20 for it. ;)

I think I remember, yeah right :p, that the instructions were perhaps inverted or backwards from the copy machine they used as to where the dremeling/machining was to take place.

I will look for my instructions to jog my brain cell. o_O

Here's what I came up with. Port matched to the booster plate.
