Kill switch

[1984 t-type]

Thinking about running a switch inside the car off the orange computer power wire as a kill switch. Is there any reasons why this would not be a good idea?

The reason my kill switch(Kirbans) is never used is because the ECM has to relearn evertime you use it. It erases all your user set parmeters on a TT chip. Brad

Ok thanks for that bit of advice that's what I needed to hear

Just kill the crank sensor or coilpac. No loss of info.
Thats what I did along with other hidden things over the years.

Just put a switch in your trunk and run the fuel pump wire through it.
