I have a killer street tranny from performance transmissions. The first three weeks I got it, I remember in 4th gear when I would let go of the gas and press it again normally, it would downshift for a second then go back to forth gear. I like this alot because if i gave it WOT it would downshift to 3rd gear intil high rpms and then switch back to fourth...My question is, Was it supposed to do that, because now it doesn't do it anymore? Another question...I found a hose dragging from the tranny, someone told me it was connected to a breather and not to worry about it so i just cut it shorter and left it....Is this a problem?

It is not downshifting. It has a firm lock up. When you lift it freewheels till it (the ecm) tells it to go back to lock up. It should work that way. Also ck tv. It may have moved. As for the hose, it connects to the bottle kit that should have been in crate. If for some reason you didnt get , please call and we will get you one. If you like it vented into air fine do as you did and you will be fine.
