I actually just checked their site. They offer bulb capping not dipping. Sorry bout that. It block the light from the top part of the bulb. I guess kind of like a cut off line. But that's always an option. They suggest using them on all housing that don't have caps or cups in them.

I got my h4 conversion from a local vendor for 25 dollars and an hid kit for 35 with a lifetime warranty. I like the how bright the hid's are but i am still on the fence if i like the housing because it is blacked out with a projector.

Love those dark gray t types. Your car looks nice. As for the headlights, they actually don't look that bad at all. I think because of the blacked out surrounding the projector makes it flow alittle better. Like I said I'm not a fan of projector housings on these cars, but those are nice. Where did you get them?

i got them from a local shop that sells hid kits. He had them in stock when i went there for another car and saw them and decided to give them a try. Ill see if i can get a link to where he gets them from or if they are on his website

I just saw this thread and references to our "kirban" headlite system so I want to clear a few things up. We sell the plug and play upgraded harness by itself which allows customers to go with any H4 headlite they want to go with. Our harness is custom made for our cars. Another company makes a generic harness and we worked it out with them to make it correct for the G body applications. The key being it has two 80 amp relays in the system that can handle up to 100 watts.

Your stock sealed beam format is very outdated. Turn your low beams on and then flip to high beams notice your low beams dim slightly and are not nerly as bright as your high beams. The headllites we offer are the better H4 formats. The low beam is now as bright as the high beam and doe snot dim when the high beam is activated. Granted many choices exist, we found one that looks like the factory sealed beam reason we offer that one. They come with 55/60 H4 bulbs already installed which puts out more light than stock.

GM changed the wiring when they went to the 4 by 6 format which makes the stock headlight harness marginal at best and simply upgrading your headlights may cause problems with your headlight switch without soem sort of upgraded headlight harness. Also the upgraded harness has all 3 prong plugs which eliminates the need to bend the cener prong on an H4 headlight for the high beam in your car.

I talked to several sources and they refuse to carry HID systems because of issus with them and the fact one system doesn't work across the board on every car.

Our upgraded harness is under $70 on our website and can be bought by itself which allows you to buy any H4 headlight you desire. Our company is looking past this as we also have them for the 5 3/4 round headlights and the 7 inch round 12 volt lights since we market many products to other companies as well.

This harness was not made by Caspers but was an existing harness from another source that has sold thousands of them we merely had it modified specifically for our market.

Since it can handle up to 100 watts I would think that would be more than enough light for most applications. I do not know why it won't work with HIDs just that it won't. The HID format was never my targeted market.

Also this same supplier will soon have halo style headlights available which as you know is the latest new gimmick on the upscale cars today.

We will have the new headlights and harnesses available next week at the GS nats.

for some reason I thought I had typed this post earlier but it did not appear in this thread.
How the harness works your headlight switch is merely used to turn them on and off power is then transferred to this wiring which is designed to handle the higher watt bulbs.

Without the upgraded harness you may or may not have trouble with your factory headlight switch but its a risk that can be a dangerous issue if you use your headlights for nite time driving.

My supplier wil have new halo lites later this fall. They wil be for the 4 by 6 rectangle headlites and they wil be able to operate during the daytime with the headlites off.

Like I stated earlier to avoid possible issues with your stock headlite harness you should install a upgraded headlite harness that has relays in the system to handle the higher wattage bulbs such as the ones we offer and G body offers.

I was planning on upgrading my headlights and wiring later this year now I'm interested in how halos would look on a gn. Will you be selling them as an option with your kits?

Curious how they will look myself. Seems like a perfect way to spend my $100 credit for my PM.

Once again, thanks for putting out great products!!

Hey Dennis....... Are these a projector lens in a 4"x6" housing?
Anyway they'd be available without the Halo ring?
Would it be possible to get some pre GS Nat pics?.........The suspense is killing us........How about a sneak preview (Please Dennis)?

I had the halo lights (maybe not the same type as Dennis is going to have, won't know till they release them ) back in '03 on my gn. They were cool. I was a little younger then ;). Haha. The ones I had had 2 194 bulbs that shined behind the reflectors for the h4 bulbs. Ill take some pictures of them as I still have them kicking around. Basically lit up the edges of the rectangle housings. They were Alittle cheesy in my opinion being they had blue bulbs for the halos. Maybe a whiter bulb would have looked better.

To answer the above questions:

My supplier currently has halo lites available but the number of LEDSs is small. He wil lsoon have better ones so I am waiting for his better ones to avoid confusion. He also has a kit that will enable you to switch them on during the day without having the headlites on.

Currently the lites we offer are the H4 versions with the 55/60 watt bulbs included. This upgrade alone is a major difference over the sealed beam ones. These are glass and are the closest ones I have found on the market that look like the stock headlight bulbs. Our upgraded headlight harness is avalable by itself meaning you can use it with any H4 format you go with.

The wiring in our cars basically requires an upgrade because the wiring is marginal at best and when you bump the output you run a risk of having the headlights flicker or shut off.

I wil have several sets of complete kits for a special price at the GS Nats this week also the harness by itself. I also have upgraded harnesses for the older cars one for the single 7 inch round headlights whic fits virtually every US and foreign cr 1955 and up and one for the 5 3/4 round headlights which fits virtually every 1958 and up US and foreign car.

Between the 3 harnesses we cover almost all the possible combinations replacing the old style sealed beam formats used inthe mid 1950s thru early 1990s cars/trucks etc.

The halo will be the hot ticket since that is the "in" look now. Old timers will probably remember like I do back in my day it was a law that headlights had to be a certain size example 7 inch and then the standard 5 3/4. Today almost any configuration goes.

Again our upgraded headlight harness will not work with the HID format. I don't know why but its not designed for that use.
