hello people: This thread reminds me that I bought a mini starter a while ago and I believe it's the one for a vette. Does anyone know the p/n of that vette starter.

Just look up a starter for a 1996 Corvette, or you could go to a salvage yard and get one like I did for $50.00.

hello people: I just got home. I bought my small SM from someone here in the past. It's an AC Pro reman. P/N 19133944 and looking it up it covers a few years of Vette.
But to youz that have mounted a small SM in there TB did U have to shim at all.

That's a very good starter and you shouldn't have to shim it, but you will have to make an extension wire for the positive cable and for those smaller wires that go to the small terminal.

Not the positive cable itself but the two other wires that attach to the large terminal that the positive cable attaches to.
