Sooooo, I'm lookin at the ATR catalog and the Kirban website today and I'm seeing an ATR 3" stainless dp for $295 and a Kirban 3" stainless dp for $185. Is there really that much of a difference?? I'm not looking for maximum ETs, just a "boost" in performance. Give me your thoughts and I'd be happy!

I'm guessing Kirbans pipe still requires the stock elbow to be used.

Rather than pay $185, you can buy a good used mandrel bent 2.5" SS downpipe for around $100 (maybe less). Stainless will last forever, and the elbow is the major restriction in the stock setup, not the downpipe.

I believe that the ATR needs an external wastegate and the Kirban attaches to the stock elbow (wastegate).

Tom
