knock gauge + scanmaster = screwyness??

first, i had a scanmaster II. than i installed a caspers knock gauge so that i would not hafto keep an eye on numbers on the scanmaster, i could see the lights flash out of the corner of my eye.

we routed the knock detector wire to the ECM. im just wondering, i can be getting knock on the gauge and i wont see it on the scan tool. and say i hit a red LED on the gauge, i will see only 4* of knock on the scanmaster recording.


is the knock gauge intercepting signals that should be hitting my scanmaster???

if so, how do i fix this? i want accurate readings for both!!

i sometimes get that to. i think because when you get knock it will show immediately on the caspers gauge and on the scanmaster your getting 1 frame ever few seconds is why the two are diffrent. i was told to beleive the caspers gauge before the scanmaster.

I like the Caspers audible guages as well.

Won't go off until you hit 8* KR or so, you better let off when you hear it.

Scanmaster is one frame per second approx. much slower than the Caspers meter which is on the sensor line.
