Knock sensor thoughts?

This is an aluminator motor from Ford. Look where the sensors are located. Wonder if there might be a strategy for implementing something like this on the Buick.

Yes I understand the engineers back in the day installed it back of the block.. wonder if it could be done to the intake???

Not all of them. The early generation they are in the lifter valley and they collect water. I thought the LS3 and later were on the outside of the heads.

Im sure the sensor is designed to work in the intake vs a stock LC2 that is in the block. The resonance it hears may be filtered more precisely also. I like knock sensors on high hp engines. They let you know where you just shit up your engine
