Knock Sensors Interchangeable ?

Replacing my 37 year old knock sensor since I have the Intake Manifold off. There is nothing wrong with it but since I'm there.....
Question is, are the 86/87 knock sensors interchangeable with the 84/85 TR's. Rock Auto has the same part number for all 4 years. Just not sure about that knowing there is a difference in the sensors between the years. I'm using the 86/87 ECM if that has any bearing on the subject.

I believe the thread-in knock sensors are the same all the way to the LS series engines.
