I was down to the local Lowe's and the are having change over to their new offshore tools. Got these for less than $30. They were %75 off marked price. Warranty is worthless but I figure at this price who cares.

Nice find Rich. Harbor freight is doing a parking lot sale this weekend so you may be able to pick some other things up.

Hmmm, interesting. Is that for all Lowe's' everywhere, or just out near you? I may hit up my local one and see whats up.

If you get over there then do take out chineese from the other side of the parking lot. I used to drive all the way from Arlington every friday night just to get dinner from them. No seats and tables, just take out and it's worth the trip.:biggrin:

Not sure where else. The two stores near me are resetting their hand tools with the new Taiwantools and the one had these on clearance. The other store I didn't see them but I did really look too hard. I like the ratchets though they aren't as nice as a snap on or matco. I would have liked a 3/8 drive but didn't see one. I got a bunch of home depot husky stuff like this when they clearanced their usa stuff. Good stuff but no warranty unless you want the Chinese stuff back. Oh well, just another of our manufacturing headed off shore.

Hard to find usa tools. Even the truck brands are going overseas.
