I payed for a 4" MAF pipe from L8TRH8R on Oct 25th and its now been 5 and half weeks and no MAF pipe. He PM'ed me on Nov. 11th and apologized for the delay in shipping and said it was boxed up and ready to go and he would get it shipped out ASAP. I waited 10 days and still did not have the pipe so I PM'ed him on Nov 21st and he replied on the 22nd and apologized for the delay and said he would ship it the next day and put a rush on it and have to me by Monday the 28th but I still have not received it. I PM'ed him on the 29th to ask about the pipe but still have not heard back from him. It will be 6 weeks on Tuesday since I paypaled him the money so I waited too late to file a dispute with Paypal which is my fault. I really just figured that he was busy and would get the pipe to me and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt because everyone has things come up from time to time but its not looking good. I have been on the this site for over 10 years(I was here before the big crash in 01 when everybody had to reregister) and have bought and sold many parts here and have never had a issue. Luckily the pipe was not that much money because it was dented so at least I am not out that much.

I hope so also. I would be fine with him just refunding my money because I got tired of waiting on the pipe and made one already! I really don't think the guy is a crook really it just doesn't seem like shipping the part is a priority to him. I should have taken care of it with paypal before the 30 days was up but I just kept thinking it was going to show any day.

Good call.. He did run the car and it was ONLY a good 10-12 mph short in the 1/8 mile of what it "should" be doing with those numbers..lol Oh well he is the dyno destroyer none the less.
Hope you get your MAF you paid for.Good news for me! I checked with paypal today and the cutoff is 45 days not the 30 like I had thought so I was able to file a dispute today. I have never had to go thru the dispute process before so I am not sure how this works but hopefully it will work out. Like I said above there is not a whole lot of money invloved but its more the principal and I wanted to let other members know what is going on so they can be warned before they buy a more expensive item and end up in the same boat!
I wanted to give an update. The seller did ship the MAF pipe and I got it Saturday. It took about 8 weeks to get it but the pipe is as the seller described. Like I posted earlier in the thread I do not the seller is crook or a scammer I just think he did not put a high priority or getting the item shipped.

Eight weeks is crazy, check the shipping date on the box or the tracking number. I'm pretty sure it didn't spend 8 weeks in the mail system unless it got lost.
The part wasn't lost in the mail the seller was just late shipping the item.
At least you got it! Purchased a few new Items on Egay for my car and 1 has never shown up going on 7 weeks. I also filed a dispute with pay pal on the items (Sucks to do) Seller claims he shipped them but never came here. His tracking # just says printed also. I wonder if its the same guy selling on egay??

I'll wager that it doesn't take the seller as long to cash the checks, pull the $ out of PP acct, as it takes them to ship the item....
