larger turbo=less boost???

I currently have a te44 and a ta49 turbo. Both in great shape. Would going to a te45a turbo allow me to run less boost than these to get the same et & mph? The car has gone 11.80's @ 19lbs boost. At the same 19lbs boost will I see any gain? I know, turn up the boost on what I already have. I do have a Pat's 3500 l/u tcc. I'm looking to run less or (same) boost with a larger turbo. Is this a fairy tale? I should be set with this turbo as far as going faster, if I turn up the boost, than with my 44 & 49 correct? I know, I will have to crank up the boost on any turbo to go faster. This turbo (te45a) should be good for low 11's with my combo correct? Thanks, Dave

you should make more power at the same boost with the 45A because the charge air will be cooler (more efficient turbo)...however, you are not into the most efficient area of the 45A at 19 lbs boost......that turbo will be much happier around 25 lbs

at that boost you will definitely be in the low 11's
