When you start the car the numbers will bounce all around get it on the road and drive it ...the numbers will continually move around the desired reading it will not be 100% constant.

I tried that but the bung isn't warming up. The gauge was reading 7.4 or something like that and it eventually went up to 12.3 but it took a good hour or so to get there. I had to run an errand to stopped the calibration. A) the bung isn't warming up so that's probably why it's taking so long to calibrate.

You're supposed to "free air" calibrate as stated above. That means removing the sensor from the bung. Just be careful. If the heater is working properly it will get very hot.

When you are performing the calibration and heating up the sensor ( that takes about 20-30 seconds out of the bung) you do not read any numbers for the calibration.

Try starting over.

1) remove sensor from the bung....
2)Warm up sensor .(about 20-30 seconds) the small led light will stop blinking. As per turbodaveHOT HOT HOT put it in a safe place.
3)Hold butt down( small red button) 3 seconds and release.
4)Turn OFF.
5)Re-install sensor
Life is good.

see how it works ......

I'll give it a shot again this weekend. On step 1) when you state remove sensor from bung, do you mean take the bung out of the downpipe (My bung is hooked up to my downpipe)? I don't understand by what you mean when you say sensor from the bung.

That means unscrew the sensor from the bung. You can't remove the bung, it's welded to the pipe.

Unscrew the sensor from the bung, plug it back into the harness, find a safe place for it to lay/hang because it'll get HOT when you move to step 2.
