Legal advice on used car purchase please

I bought a mustang off a guy in NJ, and while he "mis-represented" the car, he also flat out lied about items on the car and work performed. I have a bill of sale with a list of mods to the car, and upon delivery found those mods not there. I have paid for the car. I think since the items are listed on the contract he signed, if they are not included then I have some legal right to be compensated, right? I'm just about done doing business online, thanks to idiots like this guy. Sad.

you should be able to seek some money back for breach of contract, if he lives in your area take him to small clims court and sue him for $5,000 thats the most you can sue for, if this was done on line then this should help http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp people seem to listen a bit more when the F.B.I. is involved, hope this helps

Dam sam that sucks I think stuff like this shouldnt happen to stand up guys I would think that if something is signed its a document and can be inforced

Thanks. I sure hate the fact that situations like this are going to force me to treat everyone as crooks. I've had many good dealings online and can honestly say I've never ripped anyone off. Seems so simple, the golden rule, but I guess todays world is different. I'm on this guy, he's pissed me off and I won't feel bad whatever happens to him.
