Lets Talk about Dave AKA-"turbobuickperformance.com" AKA-the call me guy
Most of you know about this thread http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/transmission-talk/304364-something-went-really-wrong-but-what.html
Well i called Dave "the call me guy" and we spoke for ever on the phone. I still had no idea who he was or what he was really about. Anyway I went out to his shop checked the place out, talked some more ship with him but then I got cold feet and waited to see what else I hear about this “Dave” guy. It just so happens that I would meet a few GN owners at deferent car shows and they all recommended Dave.
So I braved up talked to Dave again on the phone and at his shop where I eventually dropped of my trans.
I just asked Dave for one favor And that was that I wanted to be there when my trans was opened. I NEEDED to see for my self what was and what wasn’t in the trans. Any way Dave said no problem. So I drop off the trans and Daves strips it down to a completely empty case and a bazillion parts. He then gives me a ton of bad news, once I finished crying he informs me of my options. A few days pass and I call Dave up in the morning to find out whats going on, He says I am going to build your unit today. So I jump in my car and go his shop and sit there and watch as he puts My unit together from the very first part onto an empty case to the last part to complete a finished transmission.
Now I have the trans in my car and all I can say is WOW this thing pulls like never before, when it shifts it doesn’t just hit hard it pushes me forward. So far I have put about 75 miles on it and a few very Short WOT and life is good.
In conclusion - If you need a transmission
