hi names chris, i have a 87 turbo t. heres my problem, im getting a ticking sound coming from the front of my motor on both sides. im thinking its a lifter. and also i put on a bgc 23 row streched intercooler over the winter and now im getting slight popping and slight lose of boost. my scanmaster hit 16.2knock today. my boost is set at 20 with 43# fuel pressure. please help. thanks chris

Blow a gasket, or worse, crater the entire engine.
20#?? No led premium, [?] and no alky?? That's a start on the knok problem.
Also, maybe a TT chip, instead of the RA??
Boost loss could be timing being pulled due to knok. The IC could be leaking, the hoses loose, etc.
Lifter noise could be a cam going south, a p. rod bent, or eating up the rocker. [Maybe even a broken rocker shaft.]
If you are going to run that much boost, and no race gas, I'd suggest a RAZOR alky kit.
Continuing to hit that kind of retard will get you a membership in the DOTC club.
