i was wondering if anyone can give me some ideas of how to lift my car up a couple inches to fit bigger rims/tires. i think people just but spacers in the springs? can anyone tell me some ways of doing it and where to get the supplies. i dont have any sag the springs and shocks are in good shape.

While lifting the chasis off the wheel base is the current fad it's not a good idea. The larger wheels and tires are not intended to do anything more than cost you money in the long run by ruining the alignment angles and causing stress on the bushings and other parts. If you decide to do this you will find loss of traction with the ridiculously over sized wheels and tires and do nothing but drain you wallet in repairs.

my cars finally runnin right now i just want it to look right
ive had other cars with lifts and such its just ive bought em already done its not that bad as long as you dont lift it rediculously and rediculously cheap
i see some with those huge slicks i kno they have to have some kind of alterations to fit them
everyone has opinions and in my opinion id rather invest into a car i like to look at instead of all that speed and i cant legally use it on the street i mean sweet u have a 10 second car dont run into a pole and kill yourself now or get speeding tickets as long as i can accelerate fast enough without people driving around me cause my car is a slug and is dependable im cool

The cars dont need 22s on them to look good. THe stock GN wheels look great or even a nice set of 18s.

On a real note any auto parts store will sell wont your wanting, but it is not safe to do it that way as for you will start to break parts and ruin the cars ride cause you want some oversized wheels.
Honestly your going to spend more money in fixing your suspension then you would if you just built the motor.

Miggy in the south west section sold his car but here are some pic of it, with 20" front and 22" on back, and it wasn't lifted actually think it was lowered.

Just go buy a 4x4 truck, lift it as high as the sky, or buy a ruined gbody that's already done. I've seen several on CL that have been started and not finished. The ads usually read...$500 obo without rims (bling), $9500 with wheels and tires. (bling bling) Dat kool dawg.

Pisano...This is simply a message board where we can all exchange information to help eachother please do not take anything personal. A large majority of this board consists of people wanting to drag race their car or get the most out of it. There have been plenty of members who have done modifications to their cars..some would call them crazy while others think it's great to individualize their car. It's your car and you can do whatever you want with it.
I would suggest taking more of a timid approach when asking for help. You will find others are more likely to provide you with the information you requested. Name calling or any childhood antics will get you banned. If you are looking to modify the suspension on your car please post in the Suspension wheels and tires portion of the board.
