I am interested in purchasing a two post and maybe a couple of four post lifts for my new TR garage/shop. Sure would appreciate opinions on what brands (US) you guys would recommend.

The shop I work for uses Rotary brand lifts, two post style. I love them. rated at 9,000 lbs, I have lifted 10,500 on them many times and have even gotten rough with them at that weight (turning the flywheel on a diesel with a prybar gets things to start shaking a little) and have not had a problem, except that I kinda bent the rear arms a little on the last heavy one. But if all you will be working on is G-bodies i'd get a light duty asymmetrical one that allows full door openings without hitting the posts, I have to leave my car in neutral and roll it into position after getting out or it's hard to keep the door out of the post. Hope this helps.

If you're serious I can help you get setup with a lift from this company. http://meco-equipment.com

That is what is going in my garage and they are USA made lifts with US steel. Very competive pricing too.

Thanks,

James
