i need a new battery and need some input on a good light weight battery for a sunday driver. has anybody used a light weight battery?? thanks in advance.

hello people; Just a thought and that is maybe put the bat in the trunk and that way any bat weight would be in a good place and get one of those fake bat for the stock location.

i have a braille lightweight battery for the car with a optima yellowtop for the stereo. the braille is nice and works pretty much the same as a regular battery

hello peoples; I went to that bat. site as mentioned in another post but they have cabon fiber bats. Now that's exotic.

If it is a Sunday driver, why waste money on a lightweight battery. Unless, by Sunday driver, you mean drag racing on weekends.

What's wrong with a duralast gold? or even walmart brand batt?

daily or drag I see no purpose on getting a lightweight batt, Relocating it that's another thing but I would stick with a batt with a good warrenty.

unless it's a race car where you are trying to get every .01 second off the 1/4 mile time, i wouldn't worry about a lightweight battery. you won't notice the extra 30 pounds you are carrying around, but you will notice that the battery doesn't go dead when you don't start the car for a few days.
