Can some one tell me what these are??I click on it and it takes me to ss gn,I have no idea why

Welp, Ill take a shot at it for ya. You cant like your own post but you can like others. On other boards " likes" get you a form of street credit. After a few likes your name and what you say means a little more. If that makes any sense at all too you.. I think I may have confused myself a little in this post too...lol. Please someone correct me if Im wrong on this. TIA

I really like the feature. Sometimes I just agree with someone or like what they say but I don't want to post "hey I like what you just said"

is there any way to turn off the "like" feature- or at least make it not send me a PM every time someone "likes" something i posted?
this whole "like" thing just seems childish and stupid..
