Limited Slip Question

I currantly have a 7.5 rearend in my GN and I've noticed that sometime's It will hook both tire's from a dead stop but most of the time it will only grab one. What do you have to do to make it hook both all the time? I have done all of the spring cleaning thinking that it might help but it still only grab's both wheel's when it want's to.

It should have a 8.5 so someone changed it out. It's probably an open diff or if it posi it's dead. Either way you can't go wrong with an 8.5 Eaton posi unit. No problems with spinning both tires with that piece.
Go to Gears Are Us for the posi and install kit. Good price and service.

Will the 8.5 gears fit in this housing? Or will I have to change the whole rearend?

You need either a 7 1/2" posi carrier or a whole 8 1/2" rear housing.
