Ok, here's the situation - I have rebuilt tranny [200-4r] w/ 9x11 PTS Billet 3200 converter - My trans drives terrible. I used to feel like torque convertor is locked or trying to lock after highway cruises, at first I thought it was L-U clatter so I replaced the L-U solenoid which made it worse now it tries to lock up all the time [which leads me to believe there is a pinched or grounded wire somewhere - is this possible? Anybody ever experienced this before?] I unplugged the L-U solenoid and VOILA- I can drive normal [ I even drove 1 leg of the HotRod Power tour like this
! Can the Torque convertor be bad or do you guys think i should look at electrical problems? TIA
