Who all locks their D5 under WOT? I know that they are pretty tough converters, but do they hold up okay? I'm planning to purchase a 9/11 real soon... But until then I was just wandering. Mine is the restalled 2800 from Conley's. I plan on putting the TCC on a wand (button) and using it top of 3rd.

Thanks,
John

Go ahead....

We do it all the time. As long as it is ok for the turbo use it and lock it.

Why not just send your chip out to have it programmed for lock-up? No need for a button these days.

chips

Good idea, i was planning on getting my own burner, but until then who should I send them to? They are both JL chips. Should I still send them to PTE or what?

Thanks for the replies, and Bruce, I'll be calling you next week sometime about a tranny & converter. Gotta get the $$$ together.

Is there any side effects of locking a stock GM convertor under WOT. Do they handle this very well or is it a good way to kill a convertor?
