I installed a 200-4r in my Vega this winter with a pats 3500 LU converter.I want to put the lockup on a toggle switch so i can lock it up and time.
Can i just run 12 volts to one wire and and ground to another? If so wich wires on the plug to the tranny.

You dont need 12 volts. Just tap into the TCC wire and ground it through a switch when you want it to lock up in 2nd, 3rd, and fourth.

This is a Hybrid, there is no TCC wire. All i got on my 200-4r is a pigtail with 4 wires.

What i've found out is the
blue wire = constant 12v
black is ground

If i take away the ground it should lock up the converter?

I have been interested in this subject as well.

Could someone explain how to do this please? Or post a link. Tell me like you are talking to a 2nd grader, and I might be able to do it. I have heard mention of the paper clip to lock the TCC, but don't know the procedures to do it????

Should be the opposite-take away the ground to un-lock, add ground to lock.

See if the procedure in THIS thread makes sense.
