Longer hose?

Can't find any alternatives to the big white bottle so my next ? Does anybody know if I can mount the bottle in front of the core support and use a longer braided line? I want to get a kit but I can't stand the look of that bottle!

Also, anymore info on the 1/2 din control unit for the SMC? That would solve my other problem with the kit.

Hey Mike, You can put the bottle any where, but you have to get to it now and then to fill it back up, so you would probably want it where you can get to it, I have also seen some guys use there washer bottle for a reserve but then I think you have to use a different pump to make work.

I just painted mine black today with some VHT engine satin black.

Not too bad looking installed.

Taped the gray wire this time with some "free" harness tape they were throwing out at work. Gonna go back and get some more rolls on Monday, that stuff works well.

I am using the overflow bottle as my reservoir. Holds a gallon
You can get a Shurflow pump and check valve, and buy an SMC controller and have the best of both worlds. I go through tanks of gas per tank of alcohol. If you want to be really stealthy add green food coloring

I put mine behind the drivers side headlights/in front of the radiator crossmember and use my windshield washer fluid bottle to fill it (windshield washer has never worked). I got a PVC connection for the washer resevoir and the cap of the SMC bottle and tied them together. To fill the bottle, just pour the alky into the washer resevoir and it gravity drains into the SMC bottle. I had some extra -4 braided hose around and just got the connections to use that instread of the hose that comes with the kit to plumb the system into the up pipe. With the exception of a small leak from where I put the PVC connection into the washer bottle, it works GREAT and is pretty much completely hidden out of the way.
