Look at my pricey watch and my pricey "crib"

I like seeing how everyone does their stuff. Its not the size of the house that impresses me, its the stuff you do to it. I am big into home theater, someday, I will have a nice house and be able to finsih the basement like turbojimmy did. (Whom I know and had no idea was into home theater) I will have my 2 or 3 car garage, etc, but for now, I settle for a nice roof over my head, a better than average home theater, a better than average TR, a better than average job, and a family that no amount of money could buy.

Thats just me though....

I'm new to the forum, but I like what I have seen so far. Kudo's to Fiveoford for realizing he may have taken the other thread the wrong way. It's good to see a large group of people with similiar interests who are able to help each other out. I for one like the crips thread.....I'm happy with what I have, but I always like to get ideas from others.

I started the cribs thread thinking it would provide some insight into our personal lives off the board like the pics of ourselves and other cars, certainly NOT to show off my home. What fiveohford didn't realize before making his comment was that my wife and I built our home largely ourselves and I've worked very hard for everything I have. Several years ago I had virtually nothing after a nasty divorce and actually went without food sometimes to feed my dog and pay rent in my rundown 1 room apartment. I would never, ever do anything to degrade anyone.

We are really lucky to have such a great bunch of guys on this site! CWelk that certainly is an awesome home man and I am happy for you, I am sure you have worked very hard to get what you have. I certainly hope to be able to have a nice one as well some day soon!
