Really? Who ever did this should never work on a turbo Buick.

Securing the heat wrap with PLASTIC zip ties......... Stellar move, absolutely brilliant.

The entire pump assembly was also held up by zip ties. It's a double pump set up with an FX pump and an old Bosch pump . You guys would not believe who this car was purchased from.

I built up a dual fuel system with a pair of Bosch's years back. mounted the pumps with *several* UV stabilized 300lb tiewraps. They would have outlasted lots of other things on the car. It was a bit prettier than that nest though....

I'm not going to drag anybody through the mud. This was prolly a bracket racer so you do what you have to do. I understand that but things could have done with a little more integrity. The entire car is a complete abortion. More pics to come....

Geez, what a pile of :poop:. Looking forward to what else was butchered.

I intended to use that, only until I had the billet mounts off the cnc.....

If funny how some people go through so much trouble to Jerry rig stuff when it much more simple to do it right.

This is what it's getting replaced with. It's not the best pump for the job but a whole lot better than what was there.

Isn't the fuel lab pump a better pump over the A1000?

Yea it prolly is but we are on a budget. This pump was a used one I ran before. It was on the shelf so I figured it's the cheapest way to get the car up and running.
