it's a decent car i have to say, paint alittle faded but he looks over with a F you type of look when i pull out the GN. i haven't even really tore up my street doing burnouts or acting like a fool. if it didnt have the whole 13 inch dayton type wheels i'd like it alittle more. maybe some 18's like some the the cars i see on here. none of that i've got a 4 wheel drive/caprice or what ever car they mess up putting 28 inch rims on. but as far as it being a nice car i honestly have to say it's clean so i give him props on keeping it up.

Lowriding is another part of the car crazed world. I would love to mob a clean Regal on some brand name wires wheels in 13's. I dont agree with many hopping these cars and then throwing them away but I do like that style.
Just cause he's riding on 13's doesnt mean hes some kind of idiot. Show some respect, and have some balls and go over and talk to the guy. Sorry to say, but you 2 share a common interest in vehicles with different styles. Who knows, he is probably glaring across the yard at your GN saying, "geez another black GN with Drag Lites!"

i'm not totally against lowriders, hell i'm hispanic but i wouldn't and have never owned a lowrider. i bought a cutlass calasis back in the day some white guy in the service had with pumps and switches. i had him pull off all that crap and i put regular springs on it and drove it into the ground. regardless to each his own, we like GN's and turbo buick and they like boucing up and down screwing up their suspension and hairdo. i just don't get it but as stated to each his own.

So why waste our time with this topic? If you want to post pics of your car just do it in the members section. And you dont have to be hispanic to like/be into lowriders. They like to bounce up and down and cant figure out why you want to drive really fast in a straight line.............. just my .02

but we have nothing in common other then cars that are made by buick. i said i don't have a problem with guys with hydro's i've known plenty, wasn't trying to really say his car is beneath my car but it's just not my taste. sure his car is nice to a certain degree, but as far as small talk i'm not fluent in spanish so there goes that. i say hello and and maybe wave every once in awhile but he's not someone i'd hang out with. and as for the hydro's the guy who came out with them is actually a white guy back in the 50's if i remember correctly. i didn't know that myself until the guy who sold me the calasis told me about it. said it was real big where he was from and it was somewhere on the east coast. regardless i'm not a prick to make fun of his car but i'm just not into his rims, i can say he takes real good care of his car so i can tell he cares about it. so sorry if you took this the wrong way i just was posting a pic of my car and then realized his car was in the background. it's normally in the garage but guess he was running errands. so relax i wasnt trying to be an a55hole about it i was just saying look my neighbor has a regal too. guess if i need extra parts maybe i can sneak over there at night and help myself ( and i wouldn't do that either it was just a joke )

Hey, datant69, don't sweat it man. Most of us got your drift. Different styles, different tastes, we all got our preferences and IMO you made it clear that you appreciated the car even if the style wasn't your favorite.

Side note.
I have a nice quiet Chevelle and never clown around on my moms block. But down the block there is a “club” of muscle car guys all “mean faced” not so “friendly looking turds” that think their ship doesn’t stink (I thought). Well any way they whir cleaning their cars in front of their house one day and I just parked my car behind theirs and said “when you finish yours wash mines next” they looked like they whir going to eat me alive. But when they walked up to me they stretched their arms out and shacked my hand and said “you live up the block? I seen the car around it looks good” and we BS’ed for about and hour. Anyway to my point, one day I was in the hood I was stopped talking on the cell and one of the those “mean faced” not so “friendly looking turds” that think their ship doesn’t stink (I thought)” drove by me then immediately went around the block and pulled up to me again and asked if I was stuck and if I needed help. Not bad for “mean faced” not so “friendly looking turds” that think their ship doesn’t stink (I thought)” don’t get me wrong these guys are not my best friends. But we are on the friendly side of things now. And when we cross paths its more like how are you how is the car running? need any helps let us what we can do and BTW come down with us to the local car hang out.
1-They have very loud exhaust.
2-Their cars are very high in the back- the guys are in their high 40s early 50s
3-And they live to do burn outs.

+ 1000, MOST GN owners are so snobby that if your car isn't a clone of theirs, "it sucks". I am glad there is some variety, especially since most TRs are black...find 4 GNs in a row at a local show, and I'll show you 3 cars that no one will look at.
I have begun to suspect the TR crowd is not "car crazy" like me, they are "their car crazy".
