Tom, why would you recommend the Moran 225's? Based on my experience, I wouldn't buy the Moran's unless you absolutly have to have something much LARGER than 225's. When buying the Moran's, take note of what pressure the injector is rated at and also take extra care in keeping the lines and tank clean along with a very, very good filter setup. We sell the standard pencil style 225# injectors

(minor hijack) what impedance are the pencil style 225's ?

Bob

i have morans 275 in my race car tried his 225 in this car but idles worth shit at 750 rpm not a great injector for a 100% street car. I was looking at some semmins.

I have read lots of good thing on the moran injectors and was the first ones that came to mind. Also 225's are going to be to small for my next setup and will be looking at a set of 275's or bigger. E98 is going to be fun as I am thinking way outside the buick box on my new build. Just for shits and giggles, what do you get for a set of six 225's?

They are expensive. I don't have a price sheet in front of me, but I know a flow matched set of 6 is under $1000. They are low impedence, pencil style. If you go with the Moran injectors, I strongly recommend (and I'm sure Mike will too) his fuel filter setup. It is almost $500

Thanks for posting. That's our "list" price. I'm sure we can do better then that if you call.

no problem Cal. Im looking at thoes, just need to get the wifes car going firts kenny just shipped the engine back. and stan wants me to get the cnp from you for his car. am almost finshed painting it. will that kit work with out the fast to gn adapter????

Yes, I make it "plug and play" using the CCCI plug. If he decides to go this route, remind him to also order the "CAN retrofit harness" since the adaptor harness doesn't have CAN wiring.

ok thanks hes moving to lagas so im finshing ot than sending it down
its a grand correct?

Why are you against the moran injectors? Also were do you see a $500 filter setup? I see he recommends a 10 micron filter he sells for $91.00. Just wondering as if there is some kind of trickery to his injectors that I can not find, it my help me in my decision or someone elese's in buying a set.

Sorry to highjack, is it possible to get these (225lb) injectors to idle in a stage 2 V6 ? I am also very close to running out of fuel and wondering what the alternatives are ?? Raising base pressure to 65+PSI maybe ?

Should not be any harder than idling 160's and you should not have to raise the pressure.

I am only basing my opinion on my experiences. Obviously, you have read good things about them and recommended them. The filter setup you "should" use is http://www.moranmotorsports.com/products/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=32_67&products_id=163 That's the filter that is on most of the atomizer setups I've played with.

Based upon your signature, you should not be running out of injector if you're running gasoline. Are you sure your fuel system is up to the task? The 160's have been in the 7's on two TSO cars with d/c in the 80%'s. Once you get around 1400 fwhp, I bump the base pressure up.

I know 160's on a v6 is only good to about 900 flywheel with a 55 psi base lol dam e85
