:) My son is in the US Marines, in Iraq right now! He has an 84 Olds Cutlass Supreme (at least it's a G-Body and plan to stick with Buick power) with a mint body (we already completed this phase), complete rebuild of the front suspension, etc. Well, after all this the original motor went south (140,000 miles). Plan to pull the old 3.8 L out and put in a GM Factory Rebuild (already purchased). Looking for a 4.1 Liter intake and carb, not having luck at local salvage yards.

The GM long block is the 86-87 block (heard same block used for Turbos and NA motors). Plan to pull heads and have them opened up, change cam, improve exhaust, etc.

Any leads appreciated! Want to finish before he gets back in the states!

Proud father of a US Marine!

Are you going to use the computer or no?

I'm not using the computer at all on mine and I'm running a carb from an Olds 350 motor. Seems to work fine, just takes a bit of dialing in.

22,000 miles. I dont think so. Hey if that doesn't interest you I have a perfect running electronic Q-jet and 4.1 manifold with an honest 95,000 miles on it. I just pulled this off of one of my projects and I personally guarantee this is a plug and play if you are keeping the stock ECM. The carb is perfect and shouldn't need to be adjusted or anything. It will run you $150.00 and I will include the stock air cleaner and any brackets you will need and I will pay the shipping. turbofish38@hotmail.com Eric Fisher

Hey Eric,

I think I'm going to be around your neck of the woods on the Memorial day weekend. I'm not interested in buying anything, but it's nice to lock horns with a fellow Buick buff. Perhaps you can give me some pointers.

I'm leaving Betsy at home though......(mini-van and family you know). :D

Are you going to be busy?

Hey Freddie, I dont know what the girlfriend has planned for the weekend but if I dont hit the U-Pull-Its and other yards on Saturday I should be around the house Saturday. Sunday and Monday might be out of the picture unless it rains or something. You might try to call the house when you get into town. 407-302-2811. I'm right on SR 415 so its easy to get to. I'll give you directions later. If not I'll look to see if there are any car related events that we can meet at. Eric
