I am planning to bring my GN to the Nats this year and would like to find a class I can race on Saturday and I somehow do not entirely fit the rules for any of the race classes at BG.

Being a former TSO car from the mid 2000s the class my car fits the closest today is TSM. My car fits the rules entirely with the exception of having a standard coilover mount and not one that is canted. I am not sure how or why the rules allow a completely adjustable unequal length 4 link race suspension with aftermarket TQ boxes but not a standard coil over mount? The only difference I am aware of is having to run a slightly higher spring rate with a canted shock mount.

But I am not here to lobby for changes or create a debate only looking for an exception with maybe a weight or tire penalty? My car in Drag-n-drive trim weigh 3460 and I am bringing a set of 235 tires to test since I am planning to go limited 235 racing later this year. I would be willing to run on 235s which surely would level any perceived advantage my coil over mounting has?

I am looking to see if an exception can be made BEFORE I purchase a legal PTE 7275 turbo. While I can probably still hurt some feelings in TSO I do not want to race against 3000# S2 head methanol race cars with pin on frontends, this is NOT what my car was built for.

Chassis;
25.3 Chassis cert, Unequal length stock style rear suspension with merilat rear Tq boxes, rod end UCA and LCA in stock mounting location with adj mounts. Viking coil overs stock location and mounting in the front with standard mount on the rear, Stock steering with manual S10 box and TRZ front UCA and LCA with billet spindles.

Body, completely stock fiberglass hood and bumpers only, all glass stock wheel tubs full floor and trunk pans, full interior with back seat stock dash and console and carpeting.
