I figure this car is known in these parts. So any info on it would be greatly appreciated. Specifically, I am very curious as to what side mirrors he used. Also, are the front & rear bumpers fiberglass? Or did he shave the bump strips and fill the holes on factory metal bumpers?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I believe this is HybridTs car pre/cutlass front end conversion. If so I think I recall him saying those were shaved OEM bumpers and Monte mirrors (same as elcy)
I have heard by someone that that may be a car owned by Heath Elmer, who has built several NICE TRs. If that's the case, we know the mirrors origin, and the bumpers really dont matter because a shaved OEM and fiberglassed ones already shaved look virtually identical. :P

I attended a car show last October in New Hampshire and there was this car which looks identical to the one in the first post...Is it the same car, or could it be that there were several cars made, using that same exact theme?... It even has those Monte Carlo rear view mirrors... This car had New Hampshire plates but the one pictured seems to have different ones...New York, maybe?...
I'm pretty sure that Elmer Heath's car was the first one like that...

Claude. :)

MANY thanks to all! :D All of these posts are most beneficial.

toofastforyou, that's probably the same car. IIRC, the guy who built the car sold it a couple of years ago. I think the pics I have of it came from the eBay ad.

Gmhtp

I'm pretty sure I still have the GMHTP that featured that car. Beautiful for sure.

Guys,

They are stock steel bumpers smoothed out.

Mirrors came from a monte.

Heath sold the car years ago, it went out east.

HTH.
