Looking for oil temperature source

Other than the pan, where could I place an oil temperature sensor? Temperature, not pressure. I tried looking for a dipstick style but only found one for Harleys and VW air cooled.

IMOP there really isn't one. You should go into the pan

Mine was T'd into

the oil cooler adapter line, mech. gauge big bulb type, Autometer.
